In our experience the quickest way to get broadband is with BT as they are the people who have to enable your line for broadband and using another company means that they have to communicate with BT before your line goes ahead. As competiton has stiffened in this sector there is now a whole host of cheaper broadband providers however and there is nothing to stop you changing your provider, all you need is your MACid.
