The Orange network was created in in April 1994 and is currently partly owned and ran by France Telecom though the name orange was first used when it was owned by the Hutchison group. In India they currently operate under the name Hutch. In Belgium its Mobistar. In Austria its One. In Egypt its Mobinil but in all other countries the Orange brand is used. They offer a wide range of phones including branded Orange discount phones. Buying direct from Orange is one of the best ways to get a contract orange mobile phone and a good tariff, in fact many of the tariffs are only available via the Orange main site and not any resellers.
